We are Alpine Nuts

Situated on the banks of the Ovens River, halfway between Bright and Myrtleford, our family has been growing walnuts, hazelnuts and chestnuts for more than 30 years. In fact, some of our oldest trees have been producing nuts for almost 40 years. Our longevity is built on hardwork, know-how and the ideal growing conditions of our location in the Victorian high country. Our orchard sits more than 300 metres above sea level. This, combined a favourable climate, allows us to grow in conditions similar to areas in Europe renowned for the quality of the nuts produced there.

We've long been selling our nuts directly to our consumers at farmers markets both in our neighbourhood and in Melbourne. It's a model we like as we can provide fresh produce that's not been marked up by a middleman. But for those who can't make it to one of our markets, we're now offering our nuts to buy online.
